How do you calibrate a blood pressure cuff?

I got this manual blood pressure cuff, and I’ve only used it a few times, but I noticed the pointer points about 10 units below zero when fully deflated. Does anyone know how to fix that?

simple…if it so hard to calibrate…evertime you get the blood pressure counted, just minus the value you get by 10 units so you’ll got the actual result.

I’d like the answer to that.

Remove the tubing from the gauge to make sure the deflated cuff isn’t pulling a negative pressure on the gauge. If the needle still reads negative, remove the needle a place it back on the stem where it reads zero. Tap it back on gently. Check it with another gauge if available.

If the cuff meter is is off, return it to the manufacturer. The manometer that you purchase for under $75 seem not to be to accurate. My personal experience has been such..
